Last week our church's school gave the SATs, so I administered the 4th grade in exchange for EJ taking them with the 3rd graders. Every morning after the devotional, the class did pledges. Since he was visiting all week, the teacher graciously allowed EJ to be in charge of the Christian flag (the kids change jobs every week).

I needed a rain jacket, so I got this at the thrift store. I didn't notice until I got home that it had "Ingrid's" bedazzled onto the back.
I got this new border from ACE. It has all the different character traits that the child learns throughout the year. There were two sets, so the first set I used for this bulletin board and the other set I cut up and will write the verses that go with each trait on the back. We'll use it as flashcards to review verses and the traits (especially since we won't be using 100% ACE curriculum next year). I also ordered the character stickers--I expected them to be the actual person cutout, but the circles work fine, too.
The thin fuzzy part of my headphones literally fell off because it was so worn. I thought about buying new ones, but then this genius idea came to me. Crocheted cozies for my headphones!

Who am I, you ask?
In 2006 I had a stroke, and every day my husband encourages me to use my remaining brain cells to the best of my ability. I love to organize, make crafts, and go on adventures (safe ones). I hope that through my blog posts, you will be encouraged to accept and make the best of challenges God throws at your life. Categories
