If you think this post is going to expound the nerdy, technical jibberish about Microsoft Word, you are sadly mistaken. This is a stroke post and will explain how I have figured out how to recover words missing in my brain!

EJ has been having fun lately...Check it out!
He made an airplane for a website, but when I asked where to upload the photo, they deleted my question. So I'll upload it to my own website! The name of his plane is "Super Foot" and it can sail for 38 feet, 1 inch, and 1 centimeter. Now isn't that a creative way to express it? So...just a couple days ago, I posted on facebook about wanting to become more involved as a sidewalk counselor at our local abortion clinic. After talking to several people about it, I realized I had the wrong idea of what a sidewalk counselor is. So I was thinking more, prayerful presence. I thought about banners and signs I could take. I thought about some friends I could enlist to come be a presence with me. I had several reasons for all this.
We don't often take field trips with our cover school group, but today they went to the Botanical Gardens to learn about George Washington Carver, and it was free! So we went along. The Docent (lady from the gardens who was in charge of the group) read a book to the kids and then they played a game. EJ was a Cotton kid. The Peanut kids lined up on the left, and the Farmer kids lined up to the right. "Grow, Cotton, Grow!" As they proceeded across the field, they absorbed nitrogen out of the soil (a.k.a. they picked up rubber balls spread out on the grass).

Who am I, you ask?
In 2006 I had a stroke, and every day my husband encourages me to use my remaining brain cells to the best of my ability. I love to organize, make crafts, and go on adventures (safe ones). I hope that through my blog posts, you will be encouraged to accept and make the best of challenges God throws at your life. Categories
