I got this new border from ACE. It has all the different character traits that the child learns throughout the year. There were two sets, so the first set I used for this bulletin board and the other set I cut up and will write the verses that go with each trait on the back. We'll use it as flashcards to review verses and the traits (especially since we won't be using 100% ACE curriculum next year). I also ordered the character stickers--I expected them to be the actual person cutout, but the circles work fine, too. I organized all the background papers that I had left over from college. I knew what size of board I needed, so I found some random sheets the right size. Then I just kinda put them on top of each other in different directions until I got the idea to make a tree. I used cool scissors to make the tree seem a little more real. I didn't have any idea what to put, other than the tree, and I kept thinking of this verse, so I wrote it out on construction paper with different colored crayons. I kinda like the way it turned out!

Who am I, you ask?
In 2006 I had a stroke, and every day my husband encourages me to use my remaining brain cells to the best of my ability. I love to organize, make crafts, and go on adventures (safe ones). I hope that through my blog posts, you will be encouraged to accept and make the best of challenges God throws at your life. Categories
