The thin fuzzy part of my headphones literally fell off because it was so worn. I thought about buying new ones, but then this genius idea came to me. Crocheted cozies for my headphones! I've seen pins on pinterest where people crochet a single chain around the cord of their headphones to keep them from getting tangled, and I was going to do that to these also, but this cord is actually pretty short and wide, so it doesn't get tangled too much. I had a bag of short pieces of yarn, maybe the longest was two feet long. There were a bunch that were only about 3 inches, but I figured it would take most of the length just to tie it to two others, so I threw all those super short ones away (because let's face it, if I ever were to need that short of yarn, as in loom-making or something, I'd just buy a kit). So now I have colorful headphones! Yay for crocheting!

Who am I, you ask?
In 2006 I had a stroke, and every day my husband encourages me to use my remaining brain cells to the best of my ability. I love to organize, make crafts, and go on adventures (safe ones). I hope that through my blog posts, you will be encouraged to accept and make the best of challenges God throws at your life. Categories
