I needed a rain jacket, so I got this at the thrift store. I didn't notice until I got home that it had "Ingrid's" bedazzled onto the back. For those of you who don't know, Ingrid's is a gymnastics school in town. (My husband was afraid it was a bar or something because there were several identical jackets at the store in different sizes.) Even so, I didn't want to walk around promoting something I have no clue about. So I scratched the gems from the name off... ...and realized I'd need something to cover that up! I have gems, and they are bigger, but they have no sticky on the back. So a quick trip to Walmart and I found these awesomely cute butterflies! Iron on transfers are so easy! And you can't even tell that there used to be a name on there. It still needed something, so I got some gems, too, and connected the butterflies. Voila! I love my new jacket! Who am I, you ask?
In 2006 I had a stroke, and every day my husband encourages me to use my remaining brain cells to the best of my ability. I love to organize, make crafts, and go on adventures (safe ones). I hope that through my blog posts, you will be encouraged to accept and make the best of challenges God throws at your life. Categories
