Twice this week, we visited the botanical gardens. The first time, we "hiked" through the Alabama woodlands and the Japanese gardens.
The second time, we explored the greenhouse, a bog, and a wildflower trail. That included actual hiking, and was SO fun, you just don't even know. We searched and searched through all the trails and never did find the "Native American Talking Tables". And apparently the botanical gardens didn't get the memo that Birmingham is in a bit of a drought because we had to time it just right to make it through the obstacle course all the sprinklers made on the path. Still, SO much fun.
Who am I, you ask?
In 2006 I had a stroke, and every day my husband encourages me to use my remaining brain cells to the best of my ability. I love to organize, make crafts, and go on adventures (safe ones). I hope that through my blog posts, you will be encouraged to accept and make the best of challenges God throws at your life.
