Day one:
Day 2: We made bags for each muffin we were going to give away. I decided since I made 4 dozen, we could give away 15 muffins. I delegated several tasks; here my little crafter is measuring and cutting yarn for the ties.

Most of our crafts in the next two months will be Christmas crafts. I think this year one of our trees will be decorated to a "homemade" theme with all our new ornaments we're making. But for this particular craft, it turned out to be more of a Thanksgiving craft. It took two days, but only one post. Day one: We didn't have chocolate chips, so we put chocolate chunks in most muffins. Some didn't have any chocolate. I had 9 bananas, so we made 3 batches--4 dozen muffins. (After helping with the first two batches, my little helper asked if I could handle making the last one on my own. He had a Wii game he wanted to play.) Day 2: We made bags for each muffin we were going to give away. I decided since I made 4 dozen, we could give away 15 muffins. I delegated several tasks; here my little crafter is measuring and cutting yarn for the ties. While he did that, I cut the material: Next he cut the papers, put the stickers on, and labeled each tag: I went upstairs to sew hems: I cut the holes for the yarn: and strung it: Step by step instructions, because you may just grab up the square and it magically comes together, but it took me several tries. And my little photographer took these pics: Fifteen muffins, baked and wrapped, and given away. Thank you, friends, for being our friend!

Made me want to cry happy tears!! Love how you involve my little buddy in these things--especially in showing gratitude. Can't wait to do some cooking with him at Christmas! (Glad you could handle the third batch by yourself!! :) He's so stinkin' cute!!!)

Who am I, you ask?
In 2006 I had a stroke, and every day my husband encourages me to use my remaining brain cells to the best of my ability. I love to organize, make crafts, and go on adventures (safe ones). I hope that through my blog posts, you will be encouraged to accept and make the best of challenges God throws at your life. Categories
