I started making "When Love Came Down" a while ago. I normally choose songs to put to pictures based on how I'm feeling. When I felt like twirling my way through life, I chose "Be Unto Your Name"--it's a very twirly song. I know a couple weeks ago I posted these two songs, but really, you can't listen to them too many times. :-) When I felt like I needed that extra umph to get through the day, I chose "You Abide"--it blossomed like a raft in my heart and helped me remember Who was important in life. I'm not sure why I chose this song, "When Love Came Down." It's not a hibiscus song (big and flowery), and there are other songs that, for me, more concisely drive home the reminder that God is in control. But when I went to start putting together another video, I noticed that I hadn't finished this one. So, I finished it. And here it is: Thanks to all the friends, relatives, and facebook acquaintances that are no more for the permission to use your beautiful pictures. I could always use free pictures from a website, but as I watch these videos I've put together, I remember which picture came from which friend, and I don't feel quite as lonely anymore. A lot of people have taken pictures of the snow, so I think I'll get a jump on the holiday and do a Christmas song next. Wait, I'll get another jump on the holiday (remember the cozy I made last week?). So, if I get any more jumps, will I be preparing for Christmas, 2013? Maybe I'll just get a hop on the holiday...

Who am I, you ask?
In 2006 I had a stroke, and every day my husband encourages me to use my remaining brain cells to the best of my ability. I love to organize, make crafts, and go on adventures (safe ones). I hope that through my blog posts, you will be encouraged to accept and make the best of challenges God throws at your life. Categories
