Our church records (video) every message, and one of the senior saints takes it upon himself to make copies and pass them out to various interested parties. One such interested party is my husband. He takes the videos of the special music and puts them on youtube. Other CDs go to shut-ins (although our services stream live...maybe they can't watch right at 10, 11, 6, and 7).
My husband is not a "preacher", per se, but he does preach occasionally and he does enjoy it. He preached a lot more often when he was younger (hehehe) and we have his sermons on CD floating around the house. This afternoon, our son--Einstein Junior--came to me with his Bible tucked under his arm, announcing that he was going to go to his room to listen to Daddy preach. A few seconds later, I hear the voice of my husband wafting out of the speakers, asking his listeners to stand as he reads the text passage. I peak in and see this:
I am so thankful for a godly husband who preaches straight from the Bible. I am thankful that my son has a tender heart and enjoys listening not only to his daddy, but also to the Bible. I've been blessed with a good family. :-)
