Today, unexpectedly, my husband had a day off, so he filled the morning and early afternoon with much-needed errands, and we spent the beautiful afternoon together enjoying Spring. I did SO well on the first half but not so much the second. Of course, on hole 14 there was some woman smoking and she set her cigarette down and the wind kept blowing the smoke toward us. Hole 17, if you get a hole in one, you win a free game--I was about 5 inches from a hole in one! It was too sad. Final total: EJ 75, hubby 58, me 59. Then we went to Walmart and got popcorn chicken and fresh fruit to have a picnic. First we went to Oak Mountain State Park, but you have to PAY to get in! I wish they would have put that at the beginning of the two-mile road...Anyway, we found this park about 5 more miles down the road. He played for about two minutes before making a friend. Typical EJ. :-)

Who am I, you ask?
In 2006 I had a stroke, and every day my husband encourages me to use my remaining brain cells to the best of my ability. I love to organize, make crafts, and go on adventures (safe ones). I hope that through my blog posts, you will be encouraged to accept and make the best of challenges God throws at your life. Categories
