My friend had surgery the other day, so after lunch I took EJ and her two kids to a nearby splash park. There were SO many kids there! But it was fun. EJ is right in the middle, with the pants and 18 on his shirt.
My friend's kids:
These cannons swivel and shoot out water. The kids like aiming them at each other.
This was so cool. These rings shoot water inside. The kids like to fill up cups and buckets here and then dump the water onto other kids' heads.
We stayed the better part of 3 hours. My shade had completely moved by the time we left. And only two women were there who had bikinis on. They kinda stayed in the opposite part of the park as us. When EJ and his friends were in the water, they were watching their kids in the playground, and vice versa. And then they left about an hour after we got there. I'm sure once school is out, and on Saturdays, there will probably be more, but today was nice. We're definitely coming back here!
Who am I, you ask?
In 2006 I had a stroke, and every day my husband encourages me to use my remaining brain cells to the best of my ability. I love to organize, make crafts, and go on adventures (safe ones). I hope that through my blog posts, you will be encouraged to accept and make the best of challenges God throws at your life.
