I made these flowers for this scarf. I made the same pattern in four or five different types/colors of yarn, but this one really went well with the blue of the scarf. I worked the flower directions just for the first two pictures. (I stopped before she changed yarn and worked the back of the flower.) I like it. I also had some super skinny, very slippery yarn/thread. The spool it was wrapped around had never been opened, and on the packaging it said 35 cents. It looked like it was really old. I used this pattern. It worked out perfectly, because I just had a tiny amount left, so I used it to make the fringes. Definitely a summer scarf, and I think it turned out divine.

Wow--that summer scarf turned out beautifully!! It's so delicate and feminine looking! Like the flowers on the blue scarf too!
