I made these flowers for this scarf. I made the same pattern in four or five different types/colors of yarn, but this one really went well with the blue of the scarf. I worked the flower directions just for the first two pictures. (I stopped before she changed yarn and worked the back of the flower.)
I like it.
I also had some super skinny, very slippery yarn/thread. The spool it was wrapped around had never been opened, and on the packaging it said 35 cents. It looked like it was really old. I used this pattern.
It worked out perfectly, because I just had a tiny amount left, so I used it to make the fringes. Definitely a summer scarf, and I think it turned out divine.
Who am I, you ask?
In 2006 I had a stroke, and every day my husband encourages me to use my remaining brain cells to the best of my ability. I love to organize, make crafts, and go on adventures (safe ones). I hope that through my blog posts, you will be encouraged to accept and make the best of challenges God throws at your life.
