I stuck the plate in the fridge to get the chocolate nice and hard.

Once again, it's ladies meeting time. And that means I have to stalk pinterest and find a cute food thing to make. Every time I take fruit, everyone raves about it, so when I found this picture, I thought I'd give it a try. Just look at the beauty of that fruit! So symmetrical, such a straight, smooth line of dipped chocolate! Seriously, how hard could this be to pull off? Um, for your enjoyment, this hard: Pinterest fail, anyone? That is exactly what I feel like every time I see something on pinterest and then I try it--mine never comes out like the picture! At least I'm not alone. I started out with strawberries, bananas, and a pineapple. {pictures courtesy of my little boy!} I knew right away I would have trouble when I could only fit two pieces on my toothpicks. ...melted chocolate... Wow, that looks so good. Just a minute while I go heat up some more to eat off the spoon...Okay, back to my fail... How in the world did they get theirs so perfect and beautiful?! I stuck the plate in the fridge to get the chocolate nice and hard. But mine sure tasted good! Came home with an empty platter. :-)

Ha! At least they tasted good...yum! Apparently, they had to be flat against each other on the side that is dipped.

Who am I, you ask?
In 2006 I had a stroke, and every day my husband encourages me to use my remaining brain cells to the best of my ability. I love to organize, make crafts, and go on adventures (safe ones). I hope that through my blog posts, you will be encouraged to accept and make the best of challenges God throws at your life. Categories
