The cabin where the bathroom is was super cool. The lady who ran it, not so much? She said the bathroom was down the stairs, but the only one we could find was through one of the bedrooms. There was a huge screened in back porch with a lovely breeze. We hiked down to the water where we could choose kayak or canoe. We chose a canoe. At the end of the river was a dam and a dock where we stopped for lunch. This bridge was so cute until a car ran over it. This was the only place you could really hear the cars. It was so peaceful everywhere else on the river. A tonbo landed on the boat. At one point he landed on my hand! But I couldn't take a picture of it... We got back to the dock and this little guy was just sitting there so pretty. Trying to find this place, we passed three cemeteries, so since the canoeing took shorter than we thought, we stopped at one and I took pictures, including this one of my ever loving and patient husband, hanging out in the shade.

Who am I, you ask?
In 2006 I had a stroke, and every day my husband encourages me to use my remaining brain cells to the best of my ability. I love to organize, make crafts, and go on adventures (safe ones). I hope that through my blog posts, you will be encouraged to accept and make the best of challenges God throws at your life. Categories
