There is a reason I haven't posted in over two weeks, I promise. Here's a slice of what's been going on the past month-ish:
A local park we visited. It was HOT.
We matched one day, not even on purpose.
I tried a new technique for painting fingernails. A thing of water, coat your finger (but not your nail) with vaseline, drop polish into the water, then dip your finger in the water.
So I went back and read the instructions...oops, guess I should have done that first, eh? Turns out, you're supposed to put the drops inside each other, so it looks like a multicolored ripple. Then dunk your nail onto the color, and Voila! Much better! You can tell it only REALLY worked on my middle two fingernails of my <-- that hand.
Library fun, building a lego fort.
Fourth of July fruit kabobs for a church fellowship. I took home an empty pan!
His "greatest trick".
A visit to the zoo with cousins and friends. There were 15 of us total!
All the cousins went to a trampoline place. This room was, hands down, EJ's favorite. Throwing balls at people was allowed? Encouraged even?! Yes, please!
Everyone but me (someone had to take the photo!) and one sister who would NOT sit down. And one brother and his wife who couldn't be there. But here's everyone ELSE. Small pictures on purpose, because some people wouldn't stop eating long enough. :-) No seriously, who looks good at the table? Even the kids look silly. But it was nice having lots of people together. <3
After supper, the girls helped me make the dessert. Teddy Graham's beach vacation.
Well, that brings us to the last weekend in June. I'll write another misc post like this with the last two days of June plus however many days of July I can fit it. For now, though, I'm going to take a writing break! Enjoy!
Who am I, you ask?
In 2006 I had a stroke, and every day my husband encourages me to use my remaining brain cells to the best of my ability. I love to organize, make crafts, and go on adventures (safe ones). I hope that through my blog posts, you will be encouraged to accept and make the best of challenges God throws at your life.
