This month I had to change several things, first and most important was the yarn bookmark. You can see the red yarn from last month--there's not hardly any left. I have no idea how this happened.
I see I am at least 12 days late with this. I have March's devotional all ready to post about, but I figured I should write about February's first. This month I had to change several things, first and most important was the yarn bookmark. You can see the red yarn from last month--there's not hardly any left. I have no idea how this happened. I used a green piece of yarn (from my ancestry project--I used green at first and ended up switching to pink yarn) and gave my little boy a talking-to about destroying the bookmark, so maybe this one will last longer than 3 weeks! Since some of Psalms' chapters are so short, I combined two for one day: Meaning that by the end of the month, the chapter number and the day number weren't the same. I wrote the day of the month at the top so EJ could know if he was on the right devotional. You can see he considers this "schoolwork". After he finishes, he brings the notebook over to me to "score" and he always asks if he needs to "correct mistakes"--both phrases used in his PACES. The one time I used a black pen to note a mistake, he asked me why and brought me the red pen to use for next time. I can appreciate that this adds stability to his life. I am enjoying writing these for EJ. I don't know that he's getting much more than the routine of doing it every day, but it's a start.

Love Jo's comment! :) I'm so thankful you are teaching my grandson early in his life that spending time in God's Word each day is very important. thank you!

Who am I, you ask?
In 2006 I had a stroke, and every day my husband encourages me to use my remaining brain cells to the best of my ability. I love to organize, make crafts, and go on adventures (safe ones). I hope that through my blog posts, you will be encouraged to accept and make the best of challenges God throws at your life. Categories
